We have so many demands on us in our lives, and sometimes we lose sight of the fact that we are deserving of some love too. Recharging yourself benefits everyone around you, since you can give more.Dizzydootyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15866644594222854135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586212998672247536.post-18411516806077809022011-02-11T11:53:30.948-08:002011-02-11T11:53:30.948-08:00I'm not a mommy, so it's not the same, but...I'm not a mommy, so it's not the same, but I love my girl time. My fiancee and I used to live in Edmonton and if he worked a Saturday I would go buy a new book and sit in a Starbucks all day long. I'd read, drink coffee and sometimes write. It's nice to take some time for yourself and I read some great books that summer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586212998672247536.post-40330348754094063572011-02-11T08:54:31.749-08:002011-02-11T08:54:31.749-08:00You are so wise! I was a single mom.....so the idea of time just for me was so foreign. Now that I know better I now take "Me" time. Which could be as simple as sitting and reading in a coffee shop or going out with friends. So much better than popping Prozac!Just Simply Dizzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00409553779867066260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586212998672247536.post-17556523402150762712011-02-08T12:20:04.133-08:002011-02-08T12:20:04.133-08:00Ha ha, E-Ka, I hear you. I've always believed, but I need to work on putting it into practice, that you can't take care of anyone else if you can't take care of yourself. It's a hard thing for a mom to do, but it needs to be done.

And work used to be Mommy time too. Sad but true.Dizzydootyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15866644594222854135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586212998672247536.post-51778679392810855452011-02-08T12:16:48.054-08:002011-02-08T12:16:48.054-08:00I needed to read this. I tell my mom I need a break and I take a good break. My mom watches him overnight and I go out with friends and let loose but then I spend most of the time wondering if he's ok etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
